I would say ask and not drag. The key to long distance is honest communication. You can always bring it up after a few dates and let him know that it might be too early but you just wanted to share your feelings so he doesn’t feel pressured. I was in a long distance relationship were I kept dragging things since I wasn’t sure what he was thinking & im bad at picking up on hints too. We almost broke up due to miscommunication

Someone else posted a thread here today saying if a man wants to make something happen he 100% will put in the work and it's exactly this, especially for long distance.
My husband and I started out long distance and the only reason why I agreed to do it was because he 100% showed his commitment and willingness to put in the work from day 1. If you don't have that, it's jot good enough.
How do y’all not build up things in your head with dating?
I suggest doing regular video calls with this person in between in-person dates - with communication, you can understand each other. Please don't build a relationship entirely on potential. Rather, assess if the person is right for you. If you guys haven't discussed exclusivity, you're free to date other people. Also, I suggest not to get intimate until you are exclusive.
