Hello there. I have been interviewing with Okta and got through all 5 rounds of interviews. They say they want to offer me the job but there is a global freeze for all marketing roles at the company. Just got offered a job at a small biotech in London (UK). ~£45k plus bonus but only 1YR FTC and no equity.

Pretty sure it's a discovery role too.

I just finished my PhD at a very good uni with 3 years technician experience before that. BSc and MSc also at very good unis with good grades.

I think this offer is well below par, but curious to hear what you guys think/if you have any comparisons?

Hey all, I’m considering a position with KPMG’s Deal Advisory / M&A service line as an M. What are your thoughts on 1) work life balance, 2) business outlook, and 3) culture? The salary is very competitive.

The station I work at is down at least 15 positions. Some jobs have been open for two years.

The remaining staff is required to step up.

Additional positions are opening up as contracts are either broken or expire.

How are people able to keep their mental health up when their station isn’t hiring people they need and refuse to pay living wages to potential prospects or promote those remaining?
