How much is the pay for data roles in the UK? I'm a data analyst with 2 years of experience and a Masters degree in Data Analysis. I have a decent project portfolio in data science. I've been applying to jobs for months but every position wants at least 2yrs of experience in real estate transactions, usually way more. I'm at 1yr+ doing HOA/condo work but have had no opportunity to do real estate transactions like I expected. Seems like the only way to get the experience is to have nailed a big law gig right out of school and get put into that practice.

Jump ship or stick it out? I’m a 31 y/o SFA with a Fortune 100 and am learning absolutely nothing. I have 9 years FP&A experience. All we get is busywork and no real opportunity to grow or take a more challenging role since they’re dying for SFAs. Do I stick it out for an eventual Manager role so I can be more marketable to a future employer, or try to pivot out of Finance to a new type of role and company now? Interested in more operations related work.

Considering taking a position with a small-cap in the US trying to build their legal department. The title is standard “counsel” although the work would be with the senior leadership team and reporting to the GC in Europe. How reasonable is it to ask for a bump in title - Senior counsel or Head of Legal, US? I have cleared all rounds of interview with PWC US-AC Bangalore. Had salary discussion too and HR shared the CTC breakup on mail. But i have not received and offer letter yet.

I have interviewed with shell India . Though the process is not yet completed all the rounds are through . I am an automation C sharp and java resource . But the job was for python automation . I have been telling the same in the interview but still they cleared all my rounds . Now I am not sure if they will release an offer what should I do ? As I have no experience with python . I am a 9 yrs experience Automation guy. I don’t know for a company like shell how they didn’t pointed this out ?
