Hi fishes,
Do you follow up with people after an interview? And, 2 weeks after the interview if you don't hear back from HR/ other team?
What's the usual trend?
The Novo Nordisk HEOR team was great, the manager responded with reason for rejection, with guidance on which Dept I'll be more suitable for. Really enjoyed the interview process.
On the other hand, Novartis has gone silent after three rounds of interviews! Do I officially consider myself being "ghosted"?
What do you do? 🤔
Hi Fishes
A bit off topic but relevant.
Did anyone hear abt TekFog & Persistent Systems Limited ? Did they develop it ? What's going on ? I wanted to apply (location preference) but am worried now if company is into these sort of unethical activities even more so if they don't even know about it.
Does anyone has any insights into it beyond the company blog post claiming they are not involved. Also how is the work culture there, are these sort things even believable for such company ?

Got an offer for Electronic Arts (EA) Manager for North America (Canada) remote for 100k base CAD, 15 percent bonus and around low 40ks RSU (assuming it's USD). How much higher can the base be in Canada for EA for a Manager role? Base seems low even at 110 CAD. It's a corporate role so not anything technical or product related. Most or all the more senior managers are in the USA. Electronic Arts (EA)

Has anyone gone CAIA route ?
If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

Project Fit
For those who decide being out by 5 every day is more important than good career development. Definitely nothing wrong with that, you’ll work fewer hours but have a much narrower and less likely path of advancement.
What was Project Fit?
I've been wanting to transfer to campus recruiting ALL THE TIME! If that's what you like, go for it!
Project Fit was the rightsizing initiative this past spring at PwC where we cut a bunch of administrative positions and combined a bunch of positions to save overhead cost.
Poopoo
Recruiting teams in the fall work horrendous hours.
I second PwC 2. Non client facing positions are the first to get axed to save costs. depending on the job the hours aren't all that much better. In my mind doing potentially a similar amount of work for less pay and much less job security makes no sense.
Not to mention, those that survived Project Fit are not working 8 hour days. All of those gaps need to be filled, and their compensation is minimal compared to client services.
PwC3 - Thank you.
After Project Fit not much opportunity. Very risky for job stability too
With the firms focus on automation and general push for leveraging of technology I would stay away from this area if possible. This was once again brought to the forefront during the recent fall partner meetings.
PwC looking for transfers like these. Talk to your partner coach or another partner that is sympathetic. Or casually investigate if IA is accepting transfers. In Los Angeles definitely.
