I'm attempting to transition to project management. I've been applying for project coordinator roles. Friday I had my second round of interviews for a job I'm very excited for. The interview goes well until I explain my career goals... I'd like to become a PM, get my PMP... BUT I understand it's a multiple year process to earn the hours. Both interviewers who are project managers have zero idea what a PMP was and I had to explain. Is this common? Did I blow this interview?

I currently work as a Contracted Software Engineer and I’m set to finish my contracted time at the end of October. To stay ahead of game I started to move forward in the interview process with another opportunity as an Application Software Programmer and just received notification that I got the position. I definitely could use the extra paycheck to help out with my financial obligations. Just wanted to see if anyone has done this before.

I don’t have the relieving letter as of now.. it will take some time for my current organisation to release it.. how can i ho forward with the onboarding???

I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. I believe they’re interviewing other candidates. Does that make me second or third choice? And does the fact that I’m working with a recruiter hurt my chances of being selected due to the commission? Should I hold out for the offer or is 1+ week a sign that I won’t be selected?

I have passed Above Target in the People section, and T in the other sections.
It was 95% situational questions.
Thave used AR's mock exams, and used my wrong answers to figure out my weakness and where I truly stand. I didn't purchase AR's course, just the mock exam simulator.
The 200 agile questions by David McLachlan were amazing, it really helped me in adapting to an agile mindset. TIA simulator n Joseph Phillip is useful.
