Take it, esp if it offers better wlb. Its more than you would make when you get promoted and money isn’t everything. I’m definitely considering exiting for better wlb and will have to likely take a pay cut bc I waited too long to exit. Currently on a toxic project and am going to see how my next role pans out but if it is anything like this one, I will be pounding the pavement! Good luck!

Play around with the numbers but if you never got a raise at the other firm and got a 20% bump during your promo (that’s higher than average) and a 10% raise each year (also higher than normal), even after 4 more years at EY you would still make less (this is assuming the RSU value stays flat). Paired with potential WLB, it seems like a terrific opportunity. Congrats!
