I’m currently employed with a 90-day notice period (negotiable), but most HR screenings stall once they hear anything beyond 30 days , even when the conversations go well.

For those who’ve managed this successfully, what actually worked? Any tips on positioning, buyouts, or early release conversations that helped keep the process moving?

When I am sourcing, I tend to find candidates who are a great fit but then wouldn’t work for 1 reason or another. for example. 3 months into their current role so the likely hood of wanting to move is low. What tools do you use to make a note of these otherwise perfect candidates? Do you have a spreadsheet? Do you use LinkedIn projects? Just keen to know best practices! Please share away 😊

Just got offered a job at a small biotech in London (UK). ~£45k plus bonus but only 1YR FTC and no equity.

I’ve noticed on Glassdoor, salaries for my level (Director) are higher than my base but have similar bonus opportunity. At what level of pay gap would you push or make a stink? In hindsight I should have pushed more during the hiring process. At 160k base now, seeing ranges in the 170s to low 180s. These are specific to my current company.
