I really like the idea of sending a ready-made badge that can be shared on social media announcing that they've accepted a new position. Great for positive brand recognition.
Send them the next steps. Or even better, some tips to succeed and some company resources.
Yes, my company does this. My congratulatory email (after background check cleared) included: company mission/vision, company social media channels, benefits information, company digital brochure, important onboarding training and dates, and information on my first day activities.
Yep, we've done something similar. We also introduce some of the members of the team e.g. sharing LinkedIns so they can get familiar, benefits etc. Basically just trying to drum up excitement to the max once they've accepted
