1. Is it fair to leave an organisation (big brand) after a year as the environment is real toxic and there’s no career growth as well in terms of good work.
2. If I have to make a switch do I really have to target big brands only or can try for medium and small size companies too.

I have about 10yrs of customers service experience. I'm looking for work, but I'm always getting minimum wage for this position. Should I change career path? Or is there a job for customer service that actually pays well.

I have been in client facing wealth management as an advisor for 10 years. I haven’t built a book of business because I’ve worked for mostly discount brokers (Merrill edge, TDA, Etrade). I want to know how to transition to a non client facing role in wealth management or another financial role. I am series 7 and series 66 licensed. Any thoughts?

After you are stealth laid off, other than job search, what do you do? I assume they won’t give you work and even if they do, you can politely decline? After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" I'm at a smaller MM bank. My original goal was to start here and hustle through into a BB, but I wasn't expecting to really like the people (my team, my direct seniors).
