Cheese kurds at interviews?
It’s a very busy town right now. Tons of production from a lot of sources. Agencies, big and small, and tech companies, who are all doing in house production in addition to whatever agency relationships they have. Here’s the thing: there are a TON of freelance producers, but we’re mostly senior and EP level. You might do VERY well picking up freelance gigs for that underpopulated associate producer area. It’s always hard to get in, in any city, but San Francisco’s top heaviness will work in your favor. Let people you know who are freelance that you’re heading this way and they can make an intro. This is a very supportive production community. Good luck.
