Would Middle East offices still hire many people this year or sort of at a hiring freeze? (Think post-mba level)
I have an interview coming up with a machine learning start up in the chatbot space. How can I position myself for a customer success role? Appreciate any guidance.
Eight Bit Studios in Chicago, is hiring for a product designer with animation chops if anyone knows someone looking! Chill small agency, in-house devs, wide range of projects, and unlimited PTO!
How do you go about reaching out to a creative director on linkedin? Is it okay to ask for a portfolio review, even if you’re clearly reaching out because they’re hiring?
When applying for a new role, how do your companies “level out” the difference in years of working at a competitor vs climbing up the ranks? Are all years of consulting experience seen as “equal”?
Feeling super vindicated: I applied for a role that I would’ve taken and was told “let’s interview some others and get back to you in a few weeks.” Interviewed with a reach (much better company, more competitive, much higher salary) and got it. Just received the call from the first company offering me the role
VP of IT role at a middle market PE firm or Sr.Manager role at BCG Platinion? I’m also up for promo to Sr.Manager at Deloitte. Any thoughts from senior leaders on what they would pick and why?
Recruiter is presenting an associate partner role at Bluewolf /IBM. What level is that compared to other firms or my current Accenture level?
Question about a couple of opportunities that I am considering. 1. A consulting company which is willing to pay me more than the second opportunity but work is going to be based out of Toronto. 2. An insurance company and position is based in Kitchener/Waterloo. Does the extra pay make up for the diff in cost of living between Toronto and KW? Also will higher taxes based on tax brackets offset any advantage? Fyi 200k consulting vs 150-155k insurance. Assume future potential as same. Suggestions?
About to graduate with a MS in Data Science from NY. Saw an "advanced analytics specialist" role for 2020 start at Bain. Anyone familiar with the company/role? nterview process/tools used/salary?
Interviewing for role at Accenture (liquid). Can anyone tell me how Accenture differs from D? Have been at D for two years and am not a fan of the culture. What Can I expect at Accenture?
Do firms care about you getting fired from a job during college that is irrelevant to your current position?
What’s the hype with FAANG biz ops? It’s a back office Corp strat role with little path to upper management, right? Are the only perks that the pay is good (overall, but worse than many consulting firms and industry front office roles) and that there’s decent WLB? Am I missing something here?
Any recommendations for exit op firms in DC area for govt work? Have secret clearance. Experience in analytics, implementations, scm and finance
After seeing a bunch of the posts on here about some of the exit opportunities people here have posted, I started applying a couple months ago. I just got an offer that's a little under 3x my current comp... And I'm totally speechless. Thank you to everyone here for motivating me to look for that next opportunity!!!
I have a position in my group at BDO for an IT Risk Advisory Senior. Two+ years of experience. Willing to promote from staff to Senior for the right candidate. DM me if interested.
Well I'm gonna ask for help on here, anyone know if their firm is hiring in consulting either S&O or HC?
Can I expense fitness class late cancellation fees because of last minute 6 PM meetings overtaking my life
A client keeps booking my time as a contingency, and then drops my hours last minute. They’ll book my hours on the scheduling tool, then not have any actual work to do. How do I bring this up as a concern without ruffling feathers? It’s so frustrating and hurts my utilization when the firm just upped the util metrics this year /:
Has anyone moved from a regional firm to Big 4 as manager? Considering making the switch in the fall and curious as to what the hardest part of the change will be, aside from the hours.
Weekly traveler 🐟 prior to Covid-19, does it not feel pointless now that we have done wfh for a bit? Thinking back to the 2x flights a week and staying in hotels 150+ nights a year seems silly to me.
For the last four weeks or so of WFH I’ve been making it to my desk around 7:30/8am and working basically without a break—lunch at desk- but cannot maintain momentum past like 6:30/7:30pm. Most of the day is billable work, but I cannot bring myself to finish outstanding assignments after 8pm, but then feel so guilty when I’m not working past that time. Am I burnout or fucked up? (Also I hate this gig & am not in it for the long haul, just hate not turning things quickly)
Congrats to the BCG poster from the other day who got into a startup. What followed were multiple MBB posters trying to find out more about the process. Is getting into a VC backed startup a step up?

What do you do when you’re on a client so short staffed and asked to do so much in so little time that you are afraid to have your name in the file?
Darden vs Yale SOM full time program? No dollars at both. - Location Agnostic - MBB/ Product Management at FAANG - loved the vibe and culture at both schools
What is the truth about when's the cheapest time of day/week to book flight tickets? Like, not for the weekday trips we do, but for weekends/vacation.
Hello. I’ve recently scheduled an interview for a position as an assistant US attorney, in the civil division. Can anyone give me insight into the nature of this position? The work load / type (the job posting was so broad), the environment, expectations, the opportunity for advancement, etc. I am 4 years post grad, currently practicing in private insurance defense. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!
Live in a 2 bed condo, 2 kids under 3, and in laws temporarily staying with us to help out. It’s impossible to WFH during the day. Stuck in a closet and my productivity is rock bottom. Any ideas for places outside the home I can work from during the day? Has anyone successfully convinced building security to let them into their office?
Has anyone ever heard of or seen a case where a Senior level MBB leave consulting to take on a CHRO or Sr. VP of HR role?
