There’s a practice group that I’ve been trying to find work in but whenever I volunteer to help, I always get roped in to do non billable work. In the beginning it was fine but now I’m feeling it’s never going to amount to actual work. Any tips to get more involved without all the non billables and how to approach this gently?

My husband is the kindest, most patient and supportive man I’ve ever met other than my dear late grandfather. He is saintly. But the chaos that surrounds him hurts me. I come from content/recruitment marketing but beyond my recent EB projects I’ve studied EB and done certifications, and I’m interested in changing to a full-time EB specialist/manager role at a new organization. **What type of projects and skills should I highlight in my resume? I’m an employer brand manager at a large tech company, fully remote in California, a people manager and have about 4.5 years under my belt in employer brand but 10+ years of brand marketing experience.
