What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

I am new to Glassdoor so am speaking about what I did at my last company. I held a monthly Lunch and Learn for my team where they could expense lunch. Discussion leaders rotates and the topics were anything of interest including: the history of the Halloween 🎃 holiday, organizational psychology w a Ted Talk from Adam Grant, Best practices for your own data privacy, LinkedIn learning program on Compassionate Directness. I also hosted a monthly xfn coffee chat with leaders of multiple chats and set fun topics (best day ever/what are you reading or watching/ plans or recommendations for vacation). I missed people in person still. ❤️
Love the idea of a lunch and learn! It’s a good reflection of a company that is invested in its employees outside interests! Employers showing that they truly care about their employees as a whole is a huge part of brand and culture!
I’m a big fan of common causes - volunteer events, donation matching. There are cool platforms like Alaya that can make this feel like a team initiative even when everyone is remote. I think this speaks strongly to the millennial/gen z set and if balanced with authenticity, plays super well publicly 😉
My example/experience:
Our team hosts quarterly virtual team events, such as Airbnb experiences (made pasta with an Italian Grandma!) and virtual wine tastings. It was super fun and a memory that I know have with the people in my team, even though I’ve never met them in persons.
Branding wise, this shows me that my company truly supports enjoying life outside of work and wants us to experience fun things!
Other elements that would mean a lot to me (as this remote life evolves) would be potentially offering recreational/educational classes on a recurring basis: would love to have a weekly/monthly yoga class or an online art course to experience with my colleagues.
Yes to yoga!
