Recently started a part-time gig as a Computer Specialist, FT job is in public safety/law enforcement. Working on certs, no degree - Basically I’m looking for recommendations in the Civil Service or government field for IT jobs. My current job has be doing everything from ordering, installing, and imaging computers, to video surveillance installation, to security systems, and managing our networks at local stores. I love my PT job, and want to do it FT. But insurance and pay don’t come close.

I am product designer with a fair amount of experience (6yrs).

Recently was interviewed for a Sr. role in Booking but unfortunately, the team finds me better suited as a core individual contributor.

I am also in the advanced stages of some lead designer positions in other companies.

However I am really interested in joining the team at Booking, especially because of the design culture.

What should be my reasons to accept or not accept the offer from booking?

I interviewed with capgemini for SAP ABAP role and my YOE is 4 years. Just 2 hours after my interview, I got a call from someone at Capgemini saying that I am selected.
They just asked my notice period and current location.I asked them, what is the next round going to be and they said that it is going to be salary discussion. But till now, no one has reached out to me.
Does it mean they got another candidate for same job?
If they get back to me, how much should I ask?

Hi Fishes, I was hired by Optum as Tableau Developer in June 2021. One year passed and I was just doing support and maintenance work on Tableau dashboards (no new development). Now the company wants me to work on Power BI and convert all dashboards into it. I want to make my career in Tableau and I don't want to work on Power BI as I find it hard as compared to Tableau also less interesting.
