Hi guys, I am a systems engg in TCS with 3 years exp. Technologies known: C, C++, Java, COBOL, Oracle DB, SQL, Unix/Linux, Shell scripting.
I had applied for Infosys in the company portal long back, but haven't got any replies yet. I am looking for the Developer/ Production support roles.
And I am in my notice period, lwd is 27th sept.
Also, have an offer from L&T with doj 29th Sept.

Finally after months of interviewing, I accepted an offer with FAANG. During the process got rejected by over 10 companies for one or the other reason. This community has been really helpful to me and I would like to help anyway I can. So ASK ME ANYTHING and I will answer as much as possible.

I just got laid off from my job as a gov contractor because the project I was working on ended. I’m currently a grad student part time and was hoping to work that job until finishing grad school before applying to consulting roles. Should I go ahead and try applying for those roles now since I don’t have a job? Or should I wait since I’m still in school until next May?

Pivoting away from Sales: I’ve been in sales positions for 15 years, and I’m just exhausted by the role (disputing commissions, arguing about deals, all of it). I have a degree in marketing, but I am having a hard time landing interviews since I’ve never had a strictly marketing only role. I’ve received several take home assignments that clearly use real company data or give a good indication to a company’s future strategy. If I wanted to be petty, assuming I haven’t signed any NDA or fine print promising secrecy, could I share this information publicly without facing legal repercussions?

Obviously I know it’s ill advised and this is purely hypothetical, but just from a legal standpoint, would I get in trouble? Seems like an obvious way to get back at a company.

How easy is it to get hired by a different consulting company nowadays (ideally MBB)? Does the interview process differ as an experienced hire?

Does anyone know what the salary bands for non big 4 firms Advisory arms (Senior and Manager) are in Spokane or it’s equivalent region? I’m talking the BDO’s/GT’s and national sized firms of the world.

When our Q2 internal sign off was at 10 am yet our client still hasn't given us the work papers we need to complete anything 🙄
