I work in insurance. I was working for an Allstate agent and was fired the day after my grandmothers funeral for being “unenthusiastic in our morning meeting”. Now I’m having anxiety searching for a job. I don’t think I want to sell anymore yet every single recruiter I interview with says I should, that I have a “salesperson mentality”. I’m burnt out. One of my friend got interviewed in Deloitte and she was asked to rethink her salary ask in the HR round. She reduced it to 1L less than initial ask. Now the status is in benchmarking approval. What does that mean ? Will they release the offer letter ?

I had final round interviews last week for the company I really want to work for. I have an offer from another company, which I communicated to the recruiter which expedited the interview to final rounds. I need to respond to the other company's offer letter soon. Should I follow up with the hiring recruiter for the company I want an offer from? Or just move on if I haven't heard back by end of this week?

I am not too involved in the project but I was in a few meetings and went on a field trip with them as well.
The position that I am applying for is in a different team and city.
Will this considered “poaching” if the consulting firm hires me? Would they need to talk to my current employer?

My partner of over 1 year dropped a comment that made me feel very uneasy. He said that he loves everything about me but wishes I was a bit more socially active. I love being on my own, reading, watching series, FaceTiming friends and family abroad. The math and language arts teachers always give me the "stay in your lane" when I review a math or writing topic in my science class. They act like there is no math or language arts in science.

One of the managers on my team continually throws me under the bus to the whole team even though I have proof to back up they’re wrong and it was their mistake. It’s just so infuriating. I have to just suck it up and take it even though I haven’t done anything wrong. When we’re 1 on 1, they admit their mistake and apologizes to me but also gaslights me.
