Men’s loafer recommendations without shelling out $600+ for Gucci?

Would you say that you're genuinely liked by the majority of people at your office? I just don't really seem to vibe with many people...

So I have family situation I've been dealing with and yesterday at a company function outside the office, my supervisor brought it up in front of a bunch of people. First of all highly inappropriate, but also it's nobody's business. She's made comments before outside of work about how her boss is gay, blah blah blah. I'm just at a loss. Should I report it to HR? And if I do, how do I do it without it being known that it came from me??

Have you talked about your wedding with coworkers? I made the mistake of saying I had to leave work a little early one day because I was going to do a tasting at my venue. That starts a debate on why one shouldn’t get married, how much wedding costs & what a waste it is, dresses are stupid because you only wear them once, etc. I haven’t talked about my wedding much, but I didn’t appreciate this. I ignored the negative comments and we moved the conversation along. Not talking about that anymore!

Currently in NYC and my lease is up end of the month. Looking to relocate to a lower COL city while we’re remote. Thoughts/advice? Any other NYCers leaving also? Just feel like I am paying way to much to sit in a studio here for another 6-10 months or whatever it might be.

I know that some other associates at my level are approximately 30% behind other associates in hours on a month to month basis. Yet all of these associates say they are “at capacity”, and myself and another associate still end up being assigned work instead of them. How do we handle this?
