Additional Posts in Londoners in Consulting
Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?

I find it highly unlikely that you as a manager will be sacked over this. Accountability is so diffuse in corporations. Just apply DARVO tactics.
Not sure I understand exactly but sometimes we overthink how bad it is. You may escape it if you're able to think of some good excuse or borderline blame it on something else. Worst case, if its completely unwinnable, ask for forgiveness and a less harsh punishment.

Mate, that does sound like a bit of a shocker. We’ve all been there. I once briefly halted production of a country’s main combat aircraft because of a misunderstood feature we enabled on the ERP. Good times.
This would at worst be an IP rather than immediate sacking.
Check for mitigating things like someone telling you they had been migrated (why did you think they were? Were they previously out of scope, were they a ‘maybe’ and not confirmed as in scope etc?).
But the most important thing you can do is *be part of the solution* now. Don’t panic. Make sure you have the best plan to unf*ck this. That will make them want to keep you around.
