Mid level, work in PR / earned and want to transition to the traditional side… print, TVC etc. I realize I don’t have any print work in my book. Too late to be making spec work or no? Advice please 🙏

Out of home

It might be slightly challenging to break in, some people are rigid in how they view the media that the work is in.

If your book demonstrates big, strategic and creative thinking then a good hiring director / cd will see that and give you an opportunity. It’s the thinking (and craft) they want - different executions can be learned.

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
