Milestone update 🎉🎉🎉 $2M NW. Despite my title, this is a big achievement for our family. 39yo recently turned entrepreneur, an immigrant, single income with 3kids. We hit million mark over 2 years ago. 💰💰💰

I just hit 1. Anything different you did to go 1 to 2? Advice?

Just kept the foot on the pedal.

Congrats OP, wondering what was your strategy to double in 2 years?

like

Just kept the foot on the pedal. Multiple streams of revenue helped accelerate this.

Why is 2mm a big achievement?

smart

I agree with PM1. I announced and celebrated my first $1M with wife and kids and barely reacted when crossing the $2M and $3M marks.
Like PM1 said, the number will likely only feel real to me when I retire and start withdrawing.

Congratulation!

Great! Congrats! Just try to be happy and not chase the next 1M. It will happen naturally when it is supposed to happen or not! You always have enough

Amazing!

Has this become fairly standard to have $2m in your 30s? With the market run up curious if there are many in similar positions

Probably not. This platform encourages people who are doing well to share their numbers

Does this include the house

Yes. Includes house equity.

Congratulations! $2M is an awesome achievement!

Feeling grateful & proud as I reached my goal ($50K by 25) 5 months early. But I can’t help feeling a bit overwhelmed. In the lifelong scheme of things, $50K doesn’t seem like much. I worked really hard and sacrificed a lot (including mental health) to get to this but it seems a little tiring knowing I still have so long to go. I recently moved out and in with my BF so my expenses are split, but nonetheless they are still expenses. Any tips on continuing this journey and keeping the drive?
