Mini rant.
I'm the last week I have had four calls from recruiters/headhunters to discuss an "opportunity" at the end of the call, they all promise to send over more information (job specs, links to website etc) and I never receive anything. I'm not particularly looking for a new role so I'm not following up, but why are they just lying? If, after a conversation, I'm not the right fit, just say that.
They've all emailed me prior to calling and managed to phone me so it's not that!

Looking a for tips on handling 4~5 interviews in different companies under a tight schedule

MM shop, inv team role, I did a final round last week (my XXth IV so far) with one of the GPs. I honestly thought it went great. Haven’t heard a thing since though. Recruiter thinks I’m still in it cause of Christmas-Hol.

What do we think: Am I still in it or not a chance?

I messed up my screenshare in a meeting with 2 colleagues and showed my personal email that had scheduling info for my onsite interviews with another company. I closed it but it was up long enough for them to see it. Now they both pretend like they saw nothing and I felt panic for some reason. How were your experiences when letting it out the bag early like that?

Hiring managers: What do you read on a resume?

Do you only look for the portfolio URL?

Is a bulleted list helpful if you’ve never heard of the agencies?

How hard is it to get an interview for SWE at FAANG outside of on campus recruiting? I’m in GT’s OMSCS program right now, hoping to take advantage of career fairs this fall, but I don’t know if I’ll have enough time to prepare for the technical interviews before then. I’m worried about missing out on the recruiting opportunity and having to resort to applying online/LinkedIn afterwards. Any insights into this?

What is 2nd round for In an Interview ? What do they ask ?

Hi. I was recently offered two jobs within the company. I had to turn down the first offer. I feel really awful about it. I really liked that team and the hiring manager. I want to send an email to the hiring manager thanking them for their time and consideration etc. Would that be unprofessional? Could it offend them? What would you do in such a situation?

Find it so rude when a firm is unresponsive after the final round of interviews. If you're going to reject me say no, don't just go silent...

Been in sales for 7 years (door to door,telecom,BDR,) I interviewed for a closing position and after submitting a demo presentation and 2 mock emails they have moved be forward for the last “wrap up call”. Any tips and advice for this?

I'm looking for advice from those who have freelanced remotely with an international agency.

I'm based in NYC and have had firms in Canada and England reach out about projects. The agencies have offices in the US but I would be working w/ their international teams (servicing US based clients). I've asked for my standard rate in USD converted to their currency.

Any advice on the best way to get paid? Have you asked to get paid by the US office instead? Any watch-outs for tax season?
