I’m a noogler with a $1000 wfh stipend burning a hole in my pocket. itching for a 4K monitor and/or apple air pods max since I’m in a noisy area. Am I being reasonable? Or am I crazy?

Ok I’m 100% remote and last week I didn’t leave the house. My work day blends into home life. I’ll break for dinner and log back in. I feel myself burning out and it’s getting colder so I know I won’t want to leave the house. It’s making me depressed. What can I do?

Should I get a wework membership for 50% off the next 3 months? I’ve been working remotely for almost 2 years and my company went remote forever. There is a cyber Monday discount happening so wondering if it’s worth it. Reason is I want to find a different workspace other than my bedroom/living room. Wfh is getting really old and I am looking for places outside of home to work from.

Do any NYC pi atty’s need some remote help? I have ten yrs experience running a busy firm in Brooklyn but moved to sunny FL and have extra time (I highly recommend fleeing NY for anyone considering it). I handled an active caseload of 500, predominantly MVA’s but also city slip/trip and fall cases.

WFH is so much beneficial - increased productivity, save on expenses, no commute stress, overall increased job satisfaction etc etc and companies can also save so much on expenses and hence management should seriously think of Permanant work from home option. What are your thoughts?

Does anyone know recruiters that handle contract remote Kronos/UKG consulting projects? A technical recruiter occasionally sends me projects from a company based out of NC. So far I’ve had three opportunities come my way….I’d love to send my resume to more of these companies…always good to make extra income on top of my FT job.

Hi All I got selected for TCS recently and 4th July is my joining date. I was selected for 15 LPA. My concern is i have a small kid who is 10 month old and i dont want to leave her to maids. I am getting higher package offers like Nagarro permanent wfh. But i am hearing that Tcs will be good for WLB and less work stress. Is this true? Because i am little bit stresseful that permanent wfh options may be very hectic. Kindly guide me in this regards.

My SO is a contractor and takes multi-month breaks in between projects. I’ve noticed for years that their personality changes (for the worse) when working, but WFH has made life especially toxic. I’ve tried broaching the subject from multiple angles but always leads to what appears to be blinding anger where they say very harsh /hurtful things. Any advice on how to handle?
