Switch for what purposes? In any case, LGA is a nightmare irrespective of airline you fly with. Also, if you do it now and status match, you don’t lose any of next years segments. But again, why do you want to switch
Gold doesn't matter
AA gold is like a participation trophy so you can feel good about yourself. Get a delta credit card and switch. EWR and JFK are terrible options if you want to live anywhere in Manhattan except downtown. As terrible as lga is, it is still the most consistent option.
No reason to switch to delta now that they are leaving the marine air terminal. I would stay the course with AA
@A1- the marine terminal was thee best big city Airport I have ever flown out of. Easy to get to, 5 mins from gate to plane and never a problem waiting for cabs/uber. Seamless experience. Oh and since it was mainly shuttles, no tourists.
Status match it
Go united
Lol LGA is a mess. Go EWR!
I think Delta stopped status matching. AA flies out of LaGuardia so why switch?
No issues using EWR for the last 2 yrs
DL has the most flights and non stops out of LGA. If that’s what you’re looking for, and not the airline, then switch. Also find DL a better experience than AA, SkyPesos being the drawback.
BTW folks, all Airlines will eventually change terminals at LGA Over the next 5 years while it’s re-built.
Terrible advice don't do united
Also, I have flown United in and out of EWR for the last 3 years with no issues.
Why does it matter that delta is changing terminals at LGA?
LGA is best, Delta gold and get upgraded constantly, can take N or W train to Astoria blvd and hop cab from there, EWR and JFK are too far. If you are going to live in NYC, I suggest Delta, AA sucks.
Spend the extra 20 minutes getting to JFK unless. You’ll save hours in the end due to fewer flight delays
