He then gives my trial witnesses to another attorney, but is still going to make me do grunt work. Is he unreasonable or am I?

I interviewed at KPMG on 11/14 and got a verbal offer the next day but since then waiting to hear from them. Been following up continuously but the partners are not replying it seems. In the meanwhile i have an offer from BT offering 90k for 4 yrs of experience which seems to be fair. Out of curiosity. How would a company view a potential candidate who has a period of unemployment to study for the CPA. I am considering to start studying for the exam but I know I would need to leave my employer in order to give 110%. I am contemplating the idea of at least passing one part while employed. Then leaving my employer to study FAR. I am considering to leave my current employer anyways, so it’s more of how my future employer would view that lapse.

I have an accounting degree and am looking for something where I spend most of my time using excel. Surprisingly, audit —at least at my company— doesn’t really do that. Any suggestions would be helpful.
