Creatine increases intramuscular water retention, I've never found it to give a bloated look, just a slightly fuller appearance.
For me, the biggest impact to bloating, as you call it, has been diet. I don't eat a l lot of sodium, it's cutting carbs that really pulls water out. Not carnivore or keto, but keeping carb under 50%, and as importantly, that keeps total calories down.
Just like when losing weight, the first 5-10 lbs is water. Conversely, as soon as calories and carbs go up above maintenance, you'll gain that same 5-10 lbs in water weight the first week.

Reduce sodium and sugar intake. Sugar just messes with my gut so end up bloating. Sodium obvious just retention and in general it’s crappier food I’m likely eating.
Creating doesn’t bother me at all personally.
