Quickly if that's the response to the situation! There are so many resources out there to learn how to use AI to your advantage.
Let me give you an example of how I used it recently and it helped me score some huge points with my CEO. He wanted to form a global subgroup within our company and decided to call it a "Council". He asked me to sit with him to brainstorm some ideas to set up a charter and presentation to the team he wanted to include but time was very limited. He literally gave me 3 bullet points and some ideas of what he wanted to include, then asked me to take a stab at it and see if I could come up with ideas to start fleshing it out.
This is something I've never seen or been a part of and I definitely felt like this way WAY over my head!
I decided to try using ChatGPT, I said "My CEO is forming a council within our global organization, it will be called the P Council. We're fleshing out a "charter" with an Objective, Expected Results and Timing, Governance, Ways of Working, Targeted New Customer List, Expansion Opportunities with Existing Customers. Should the last two items be part of the "charter"? Give me suggestions of headings and subheadings for this document and advise if the new customer list and expansion opportunities belong here or in another document and what would we call that?"
It gave me a 4 page draft for the Charter and an 80-slide presentation to accompany it. ChatGPT didn't actually create the slide deck, but it suggested what to put on them, explaining what and why, and asked me questions to tweak them to fit. It as way more than my boss was looking for, but we whittled it down to fit his vision and I looked like Superwoman.
Sign up for AI newsletters like Superhuman or The Neuron. There's a lot of content for programmers in there, but I've found quite a few tips and tricks I could use in my role as an EA. Ask ChatGPT or Google Gemini how you can use AI to benefit you in your role and you'll be amazed by the responses.
You will not be replaced if you learn to be strategic and use it to expand your role. I wish you all the best!
Trust me, I’ve been wondering the same thing. I think the answer is, not that long.

There's a big difference between a crs AI bot and what an EA does. If you were an AA or just do basics like travel, expenses, and scheduling. But if you go much more beyond that I'm not personally worried. And I work with the Chief AI officer.
