I've got a job offer from Deloitte Latvia ( Deloitte Central Europe) for the Riga City. The gross compensation is 3000€/monthly along with one time 2500€ as a relocation allowance with other benefits like 45€/month as Telephone reimbursement etc & other usual Deloitte benefits. Currently I've a ctc of 11 LPA at EY & 3.5 YOE. Is it worth accepting the offer after all calculations. #Deloitte #Europe #Latvia . Deloitte EY . Kindly provide some insights if u have any .

Don't sign the contract
And why do say that?
It's a clause .. else they won't file the petition
If u are looking for onshore opportunity and the company really have any onshore opportunity then go for it, otherwise u will have visa but it's of no use if they don't have any opportunity and u have to sit in for the next 2 years
It is a very tricky suitation.. i have prepared myself for the interview and started applying. But this visa bummer came as of sudden. Definitely i can't expect this 💯 % pay hike. But at the same time i need my freedom to choice my own path.
If you’re happy with the current employer, want to relocate to US and don’t currently have any offer from US employer, then I don’t think there’s any problem signing the contract. While on L1 visa you cannot change the employer anyway. If going to US is something you’re looking forward to, then this is your opportunity, with a small caveat.
You shouldn’t have a problem with the contract, rather you should have a problem with L1 visa, where you don’t get extension to look for other job in case you’re laid off. You have to return to your home country.
What's the issue? You cant change jobs with L1 visa anyway
