Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

Former admin manager here. Unless your job duties have increased or changed significantly, you probably won’t have much luck negotiating for more unless you are 150% positive you are irreplaceable to them, which is unlikely as “everyone is replaceable.” You should take it and keep your eyes open for a better paying job elsewhere while still employed. It never hurts to look, but the market is not great right now for good paying admin jobs. At my company, we had to take pay cuts. But even with my pay cut, I’m still making more than what current postings are offering as top salary, so I’m stuck until the market improves or I get lucky with a referral from my network.

These days, it's easier to earn more by jumping to another company. You may be able to negotiate a better raise, but it will always be an uphill battle trying to get the next and the next. You'd have to ask yourself do you love where you're at and are you satisfied with the income. If one or both is a no, it's time to look elsewhere.
if it's your annual end of year raise, then it may be difficult to negotiate and it's usually just a standard percentage.
The job market is dire right now. I just received a 3% raise at my current job after I talked to my manager and explain my reasons. Even though I assist multiple executives and our company grew 30% + in personnel in the last year which I also assist from time to time. I'm looking constantly because I feel I'm very underpaid for my responsibilities and experience. I have not received a positive email in months.
lol at least you got a raise! You could try negotiating but depending on how small of raise we are talking about I would take it and start job hunting
My company gave a 3% raise is January and it didn’t even cover the cost of the insurance hike, which went up 6% so I started looking elsewhere.
The job market is sooooo tough right now. I would really like to move into an opportunity that has room for learning and advancement. It doesn’t seem like that will happen where I am.
