My employer just functionally laid off their entire Las Vegas servicing office, using just enough layoffs to dodge WARN notifications, cutting everyone’s pay drastically, and closing the physical office. Has anyone been through something like this? Should I find a new job?

I have an active secret clearance, BS in strategic intelligence, working on a masters in cybersecurity, and taking Security+ in December. No work experience in cyber, just my education and bootcamp course for Security+. Should I still apply for job that want 2-5+ years cyber experience and/or an active TS clearance?

I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I have been talking to a recruiter for a little over a month about a position.
