My girl friend in USA is planning to apply for Canada tourist visa (I am in Canada) so she can travel meanwhile we figure out other visa options.

She has an approved i797 but not stamped on the passport yet. Has anyone applied for Canda visa without US stamping or faced any issues ?

I did and it's killing me because now I'm working till 2 am, but its not showing on paper. I o ly show 8 or 9 hours.
