Got the call for this piece yesterday.

Hi All,
I just got a call from KLA Company's HR that I have cleared final round and there is a HR round today evening for salary discussions.
The role is for Frontend Developer(Angular).
I have 3.1 years of experience.
CCTC - 13.2 LPA (all fixed)
Holding offer of 17.5 from service company in Pune.
Does anybody have any reviews for this company for the s/w department?
How much should I ask?
What are the other ways I can negotiate? Like do they provide RSUs?

Thank you

I would wait until you have plans to move. You never know what life will throw at you. Maybe he doesn’t pass. Maybe your plans change. This is kind of like letting an employer know you’re trying to conceive but you’re not pregnant yet.
That’s a great analogy! Your personal business is personal until it must be disclosed professionally.
OP, you could try to pick up some work from the CA partners in the meantime. This could set yourself up for a smoother transition to the west coast office.
Could start the process and see how it goes. Better than waiting and regretting it.
Worked on a couple move from MIA to DC to top AM Law 50 law firms. The process took 6 months for them both to get offers and 9 months for them to move. Firms who want you will allow you to start remotely in their office if they have an office where you live and wait for you to move. Your Spouse should start applying as well letting them know he intends to get barred in CA. It actually can take months for relos to work out because firms sometimes pass on relos because of that factor. You don’t have to blanket share your firm but you can test the waters and see what opportunities are in CA and what a firm’s appetite might be for a relo.
PS: Im a CA Based recruiter. Im actively looking for California Barred Litigators
The job seeking process can be long, I would start to explore options now
