My interview at Barclays was on 22nd July (coming up for 8 weeks ago now!) and I still haven’t received any feedback regarding my interview. Due to the length of time it’s taken to hear back, I’ve just assumed I’ve not got the job and have started applying for other roles elsewhere. I’ve been told on 2 separate occasions that the hiring team will be in touch within 2 working days but I’ve still received nothing.

It’s incredibly frustrating but I would move on from any company that doesn’t respect their candidates time.
I suggest you continue with your job hunting. Almost 2 months have already passed so I think you should move on. Best of luck.
8 weeks is probably well outside of the window, so I'd say that you probably didn't get the job. Especially if they told you they'd be in touch within a couple of days. Try not to let it get you down. Can't win 'em all. You'll find something better!
Usually it’s because they are interviewing other candidates and have to let the successful candidate know first (and then accepting the offer) before letting down everyone else. At 8 weeks I’d assume it’s a no. Sorry 😞
Did you follow up on your end?
I would move on these are early signs of disrespect and informality, not to mention disorganized organization. Keep searching and if they come back to you see how they handle themselves and just use them as leverage for other offers i wouldnt consider them after how theyve treated you.
It took me 6 months after getting hired, for them to give me a start date. Everything there is messed up.

No one has a hiring frame! Its better to go straight to them and ask. If they are urged they will move fast; if not they wont. If they found an internal candidate they will probably go for them. Contact them directly!
Did you ever hear back from them? I'm currently in a similar situation.
