If anyone wants referal to Capgemini DM me.
My LM is so keen on small small things, not related to coding but documentation and all. Atleast once in a week I'm committing mistakes on small documentation points n he is stressing on same. Are there any chances that my probation will not be extended or is it a clue for me from my LM. He is Looping his LM and asking questions/clarifications.
Should I ask him directly or can be ignored or need to try outside. Please suggest Barclays

Milk it for all it’s worth. You’re at mile 24 of the marathon—you’ve got this!
I knew this deep down I’m just flagging and needed encouragement, so thanks!
Sounds like you already made up your mind! Good luck with the next step in your journey 🙂
Thank you!
Stick it out. I’m in the same position but you’ve made it this far you can make it one more week to get the full 2 weeks of payroll :)
Passport arbitrage, that’s what I’m planning to do. Earn in USD and live in Baht/Ringgit/Rupiah
Are you working to live or living to work? Sounds like you’re working to live. You have a decision to make, do you want to get out of the rat race and give up the money? You want to do something else but if you like the money too much and the things you want to do don’t make that money, then something has to give.
The question wasn’t should I quit and do the digital nomad thing, that’s already decided. I stopped caring about money a long time ago. Life is too short to spend my days in front of a computer worrying about compliance.
Sign in daily. Mentally check out daily. Work on your game plan. I went through the same thing and eventually took a few personal days. The time spent online caused me far too much anxiety.
I actually had a director I worked for on a previous capacity reach out and asked me to return to his area. It saved me from walking off the job I had for 10+ years. My leader threw everything, but the kitchen sink at me to complete before I left while he/she took time off. I politely did the same, and I now have a new role in the company far away from the toxicity. It was the worst year of my entire career.
Grind it out for a few months. Stack bread and then bounce.
How is your job soul destroying if you’re a financial planner?
VP1: you’re not OP. Some people might take more time to understand what they like and don’t like. Some just drift along with life grinds, or who knows they know it all along, but can’t decide yet as they have bills to pay, family to take care of, haven’t seen a better/alternative path, or some other reasons that cause them to be indicisive? 🤷🏻♂️
What kind of nomad work? Feel it’s hard to transit into that life from a business role
Thank you, appreciate it!
If a few extra days of pay is going to make a noticeable difference to you financially, it doesn’t sound like you’re anywhere close to being able to afford to quit…if you desperately want to quit then quit! Or stop showing up. It would take them at least 30 days most likely to fire you. You can always do some other random job or even Uber for cash if you have to.
I take your point but it’s actually the reverse. I’m financially ready to go which is why I’m checked out, but I’d be leaving a week’s salary on the table for no reason.
Furthermore, this journey couldn’t be less about money or if I can ‘afford’ to do it. I doubt many people would reach that arbitrary number before they’re willing to take the leap. Sometimes you just have to jump and see what happens.
Don’t resigned you may be eligible to be on FMLA - stress of work. You can get up to 3 months of paid to leave.
Stick it out. You're leaving either way might as well make all you can make
F
Not exactly the same but I resigned before my two weeks was up at my last role. It was worth it but wish I had taken more time between roles.
Not yet to the point where I can walk from a corporate gig, but I'll be living vicariously through your new journey.
Thanks man, appreciate that. Rooting for you if you ever decide to jack in the 9-5.
My dream! Curious, what is your savings to do this? And how do you plan to find a DN job?
Oh yeah like I said I’m pretty ready to take the jump and would figure it out, it’s mostly my SO. If roles were reversed and he was pushing me to go asap I would haha. He loves his job and the $ are better than anything he would get freelancing so he wants to stick it out for a few more years so that money might not be an issue for us for the rest of our lives which I can’t blame him I guess. He also doesn’t have the same desire to live abroad that I do so he views it as a downgrade in terms of lifestyle
Life is short…. Don’t do anything that is soul destroying…. Think carefully and plan it out. Save reasonably and quit
Living the dream OP, I hope it all works for you! What digital nomad gig are you going to explore on your own? I dare to dream this path but I'm quite stumped on what I can possibly be doing on my own. Every freelance gig is saturated and I dont have a clue on online business ideas. How are you planning yours out?
