[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

You should NEVER fall for the OTE bs companies say.
Next time make sure that if everything fails whatever base you negotiated you can live off of.
The fact you made 140k is still amazing and if you’re still gunning for more you probably want a better title/ position.

Office quota for my group was 1.2 M. We had a rough year, so 900k normally we would achieve 1M +. Of course, new management thinks we can do 2M this year. I don't know where they get the crack they are smoking. SMH
My OTE is $140K and I made $135 last year. The year before it was $130K and I made $123K but as someone stated above me, I make sure to live and budget off my base salary so I don’t have to depend on my commission payments.
Honestly depends on the industry & org of your company. I’ve always hit my OTE but I’m not at 200k ( 165k OTE) also in Mid Market, but not others in different parts of the org ( Enterprise). If your industry and the economy don’t mix it makes it harder to sell.
I totally get where you’re coming from. My OTE is also pretty high, but like you, I rarely hit it because of the quotas. It feels like companies set these ambitious targets to lure candidates but then make it almost impossible to hit them. I’d love to hear if anyone’s consistently hitting their OTE
Recommend some good companies to me! I need to hit $150,000 OTE
