He doesn’t have consulting experience but he is a PharmD and completing his MBA. His base comp in industry is $160k plus annual performance bonuses of ~$50k. (LCOL area) I’m not sure how SC levels payout in HC but think he may be more in line with a level or two up in terms of comp. Do you think he should apply? Deloitte

Friend of mine was supposed to receive an offer (told verbally) from Deloitte and then just found out they are pausing on hiring the role. How common is that? Seems wildly unprofessional that none of the partners called and instead it was the recruiter conveying that news. At McKinsey, if that happened, the head of the practice or the office would personally make the phone call at the very least.

About to get promoted at PwC from Associate to Senior Associate (mgmt consulting). I interviewed at Deloitte for a Consultant position, but they’re potentially giving me an offer for BA. I’d essentially be holding out on the promo until next promo cycle.
