Hey All!
I have a phone interview for a data scientist role at snowflake comming up. Any advice on how to prep?
The email indicates that the call will cover my experience, motivations, and understanding of Snowflake.
Curious if other have gone through the process and have insights to share. Or if anyone at snowflake can shed light on how I can be effective.

I had a barback quit on one of our busiest nights of the year. I was livid. Would have never guessed I'd see him again, but ran into him at a concert of all things and he actually approached me and apologized for that night. Turns out he had a close family member pass away and he dropped everything to be with family. You really just never have any idea what others are going through.
That's kind of harsh isn't it? I walked out of my absolute favorite job for reasons I was too embarrassed to say
I miss it every day. You really never know what people are going through. Be kind
Its not worth putting in youre two weeks cause jobs screw you over at the end by takeomg youre hoirs away..
I've seen this happen in a couple of times. You never know what people are going through in their personal life. Maybe he had to move last minute or felt embarrassed to quit, or didn't want to let you down.
This has happened to me a few times as well, usually with younger workers. One kid showed up for his first shift, worked hard all the way up until lunch, clocked out for his break and then never showed back up. I called twice and then just moved on. No point trying to chase down people who clearly don't want to be here.
I've seen it happen in temping. People go to lunch and never come back. it's kinda weird but it happens. move forward, don't brood about it.
