I interviewed for a role with the Enterprise Risk Team at EY. I told them my salary requirements were $105 k before the interview. They said it should be ok if I'm brought in as a Senior 1. After the interview, they said they want to bring me in as a Staff2 at $84k with $3k signing bonus. I'm trying to get on a call to negotiate further...do these numbers sound right to you all?

Ok so I was in a job search support group today and the issue came up about one's aims when job hunting. They tell me it's not about me it's about what the employer wants.

Thing is for me it *IS* about me. The employer is just a vehicle for me to have the lifestyle I want. Why can't we be real about why we want a job? Any Bridge Engineers/Structural Engineers in here? I got my PE this year and have 5 YOE in TX + an MS. What sort of raise would you expect for receiving your PE working in a consulting firm? I'm at 78k currently, which is apparently still in the upper range of EIT salaries per a job posting in CO. I'm thinking of 15% (5% merit, 10% PE). Any ideas?

I am applying for my FL CPA license. The work experience form asks for the start date, end date, and number of weeks employed. If I started working full time 7/20/20, do I just count 52 weeks and put that as my end date (i.e. 7/19/21)? Or should I put today (making it 56 weeks)?
