Can someone help with negotiating the offered salary from one company as I received a higher offer from a different company.
Is it ok to send a mail first stating the details and then talking on call to negotiate the offer.
What are the chances of these strategy back firing, as the market is hot right now I think they will be able to provide me a revised offer, what do you think.

Notice period remaining is only 15 days and I will be joining the next company immediately.
