Atlanta is cheaper, Boston is better

This
ATL is way more fun

*funny
Waltham is not Boston though. It’s not even on the subway. Need to take the commuter rail to get downtown.

What logic lol.
ATL is where they are investing in the new Tech Hub. It'll be a better long term bet for networking and growth IMO.
Agreed. Capital one is moving there too
Do you like to be cold? If not, Atl
The money will go a good bit farther in ATL. If it were me, I would pick the one closer to family/friends
Atlanta all the way! It’s amazing now all the options for living, and the suburbs are welcoming when you want to settle down. You’re central for travel, the weather is great, and the people are wonderful. Boston is freezing, a little tougher of a city, expensive, and not as easy to travel from as ATL

Yeah no until a waco decides you can't sell contraception pills in the state. Lol

Where are you from? And what does your partner think? Atlanta is cheaper for sure
We are currently in New York and my partner has the same questions that I do since none of us have been to either of the places before

The new Atlanta office is really nice. Probably my favorite I’ve been to
ATL for sure. The housing market is very expensive and the population outpaced the infrastructure there as it seems there’s always traffic all day. I would definitely choose Atlanta over Boston due to the southern hospitality, activities, food, shopping etc. they do have crazy weather tornados and freak snow storms. As a young couple ; Midtown or Buckhead are cool places.
Also consider schools ^

Pretty sure I’ve walked by the tiny office Mck rents out in Waltham. Very average food in cafeteria btw. Huge factor, I know
Where do you live now? How important is warmer weather to you? The lifestyle in Atlanta is very different from Boston... I don't know where you live currently but you may find yourself kind of shocked by the differences between either lifestyle.
I also have an offer there (Waltham or Tampa) and am doing Waltham if I accept. While the Waltham office requires driving to it, you can live on the T (Boston’s transit system) in a couple spots and still have maybe a 20m commute by car. I’m doing that since my spouse’s office is downtown so it would work well for both of us and it makes it easier going out on nights/weekends.
Tampa office is something of a dungeon, so good call.
