I joined Tredence today as a Senior Data Engineer (23 LPA). Today itself, NTT DATA, where I had already cleared the interview, offered me 26 LPA even after knowing I had joined Tredence.I asked Tredence HR if they could match the offer (I was even okay with 25 LPA), but they declined and asked me to speak with the HR VP if I decide to resign.If I resign after joining on Day 1, will I have to serve the notice period? Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any advice?

What is the current market worth of a security architect (cloud and application security) with 9.7 years of experience ?

Skillset: Application and cloud security architecture, threat modelling, SSDLC, secure design reviews, SAST (code review), DAST/pentesting, DevSecOps, cloud native security (microservices, containers, Kubernetes), etc.

I have interviews lined up with Honeywell, Deloitte, KPMG, Tata Play, GE, etc. Just want to test the waters before I answer the salary expectation question.

I received an offer from IBM Bangalore. However I saw openings at my preferred location Kochi only after the interviews. I called the HR after getting their point of contact mail and I asked if it's possible to switch. They said I'm already tagged to a project and that they'll check from their end if it can be done.

Anyone knows the chances of location being changed after receiving the offer and getting tagged to a project?

Looking for advice…I currently make $85k + 35% bonus. I’m interviewing for a job that I now know pays $70k + 15% bonus. Obviously that’s a steep cut. The only reasons I’m still interested are that it’s in crypto operations which I’d like to transition to, and it’s back on the east coast closer to family. I'm new to marketing and I am not formally educated in it. I have just been learning through experience with the business. I'm supposed to put together a Market report for our sales team to refer to but I have been stuck on what I even include. I have an expensive subscription to a reporting database and I am supposed to translate these technical reports into 20-30 slides. I have got an offer of CTC 23.25LPA +JB +RSU in Blore. And I have also got an international offer of CTC € 70000 + relocation sponsorship in a mid sized firm in Vienna, Austria.

My wife works with a CTC of 15LPA in Blore.
