Need some help on evaluating offer. CPA with 5 YOE in HCOL, 2 years B4 external audit 3 years IA at regional firm. Received an offer for $115k plus $45k annual bonus at an investment management firm for $160k total comp for senior role.

Currently a Senior at an advisory firm making $105k with up to 10% annual bonus and am up for promotion to Manager this month. Looking to get out of advisory and move in-house. Manager salary at current firm would be 115-120k with up to 10% bonus.

So I’ve been with a court for a while and honestly the pay sucks compared to what paralegals should be making… the benefits are great though and they match my retirement 100% now that I’m vested at 3 years.I have 4 kids and 1 is getting ready for college. I feel like the benefits are great but I’d rather make more now. I am a previous LEO for 4 years who switched to paralegal so I have my leo retirement. Paralegals here make $28 with no benefits what is a good compromise

Since it is a year early if i don’t get promoted this round I know it’ll come mid year but I do expect a good salary increase still without the promo. So I was offered a role in Strategy Consulting in after 2 years in Risk Consulting however, after 2 years I’ve only worked on Internal audit engagements few ad hocs such as updating risk register and the delegation of authority matrix.

Honestly speaking I am doing good and I am up for promotion in October however I am not fully enjoying my time but I fear that the move would not be a good and I can’t hit the ground running which scares me.
