My company is looking to boost the office culture outside of the typical happy hour/free snacks/food. What are some fun ideas in and outside of the office you’ve seen or done?
Hi Fishes A bit off topic but relevant. Did anyone hear abt TekFog & Persistent Systems Limited ? Did they develop it ? What's going on ? I wanted to apply (location preference) but am worried now if company is into these sort of unethical activities even more so if they don't even know about it. Does anyone has any insights into it beyond the company blog post claiming they are not involved. Also how is the work culture there, are these sort things even believable for such company ?
Does anyone have any experience working with AWS GTX teams? Any insight is appreciated. Would love to hear about culture, hours (do people including leadership work on weekends)? Good people on these teams?
How is the work culture at Infy. Is there any logging of work hours. Mandatory check in check out? How many leaves. Is it better than Accenture or worse than it, in case someone has worked at both.
How do you know a new job isn't right for you? A month in and I'm starting to get some concerns about leadership and the wider business (my team informing me of C suite's toxic traits, there being literally zero culture, glorifying burnout etc) but i don't know if it's just because I'm still finding my feet.
How is Deloitte India (not USI) in terms of work culture, work environment etc. Kindly suggest. Note : I have already been to Glassdoor, but couldn't figure out whether it's for Deloitte india or USI Can I negotiate on the existing offer with a counter offer? Kindly suggest Thanks in advance
Hi fellow recruiters! 🙋🏻♂️ would love to get an idea of what the culture at Pinterest is and how recruiters feel about working there?
Can any Columbia current students or alum speak to the culture there? I know this has been asked often, but curious to hear other viewpoints since everyone has a different experience. Also, how might the new building impact the culture? FWIW I’m an admit deciding on schools
Thinking about moving to a big city with the following preferences. I am thinking about Dallas, philly, or Chicago. What’s your experience living in those cities? Is there any other city I am missing? 1. Growing economy and population 2. Great food scene and things to do as a young professional 3. Relative LCOL can’t afford housing in NY, SoCal, etc. 4. Diversity of culture especially a bigger Chinese presence
Creative workshop... how to handle it? 🙃 Any clue to help me to set up advertising culture in my creative department (formerly graphic design department) ? 🤞
BCG fish - does putting NY vs NJ on my application impact my chances? Any big culture difference or other differences to highlight?
VP at firm who is a strong sponsor offered to give warm intros at funds where he knows senior folks (Wharton alumni). I appreciate the sentiment and assume it’ll be informational but I have no idea what to ask these senior folks nor what to expect from the convo. I’d ask associates about the firm culture, their past deals, the pe landscape, and their responsibilities and say to keep in touch if there are open opportunities, but what should I be asking VPs and above? And what CTA to end with?
I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?
Just left a 1h+ long WhatsApp debate (in a group chat) with a male mutual friend who insists that rape culture doesn't exist in US/Canada; "men attack men too, what about us"... [Continued>>>]
How do you deal with someone from creative that you literally cannot stand? I cannot bear talking to them for a wide variety of reasons, but they are always disrespectful. Does anyone NOT have toxic workplace culture? What do I do?

🌞 'Morning creative fishes. I don't usually post about open positions here, but thought I'd give it a shot. I'm hiring for a few Product & UX design roles. Open to different levels, but favoring Sr- to Lead-level folks; design project leadership & strategic thinking are a must, as well as some solid evidence of craft. Chicago-based, hybrid innovation consulting company <50ppl. Excellent team culture and work-life balance, high-EQ leadership. DM if interested!

Hi Fishes, Need your inputs on sal benchmarking: What is the salary range (fixed component) for 3 rd year Functional strategy manager in Accenture Strategy India practice?
Is anyone else just depleted? I am deep in my bones exhausted. I'm a mom of 2 girls (6 & 9) and my partner is a firefighter/paramedic & a nurse. In the past 14 months I went from a SAHM to working full-time when my youngest went to kindergarten. 5 months into my position in a new industry...quarantine. At that time it was chaos! Home schooling, the commodity market of PPE, all of my teams marketing, no communication from management, scheduling hell and forced PTO to be home for hybrid learning
Anybody here who works or knows someone working at Netflix? I'm looking to know more about the different data science teams and the working culture within the company. TIA!
Any firms allow booking first/business class for domestic US client travel? (Not counting on status)

Got rejected a week after the final round of interview. When asked for feedback was told that he wasn’t allowed to share it as per the policy. I was happy that i got this far after trying for years but it was disappointing mostly because no feedback was given by the HR. I spent weeks to prepare for the interview (process took more than a month). Would have been better if the HR had recognized the effort i put in and provided some feedback for closure.
Interviewing for a position at Netflix and have a call with the recruiter in a week. Any sense of what to expect other than the usual (walk me through your experience and how do you think you’ll be a good fit). Are there perhaps any unique questions only specific to Netflix that I should be prepared for ?
Anyone find their career taking off during COVID? I’ve become a more confident speaker because I’m more comfortable at home and that’s been a huge plus.

From my high school/college job at a county I have a 457(b) that has $5,215 in it with an ARR of 2.18%. It’s not much, but I am trying to figure out what the best thing to do with it is: leave if there until retirement, cash it out w/ no penalty but income tax, or roll it over into I assume an IRA. Any advice would be appreciated! (My current job has a pension and I pay extra into a different 457)
