New analyst here. One of the sells of consulting were the great exit opps, but this thread is looking really pessimistic. Are things really that bad?

How much better are the exits ops from MBB vs T2. Don’t think I want to do consulting forever. But close to getting offer to lateral. Do I take it and exit in 1-2 years or just exit from T2? Thanks 🐠

I’m highly disappointed about the fact that whenever I talk to the HR teams or recruiters about joining bonus, they state there’s no provision. However, my male colleagues or ex co-workers who interviewed for the same position where offered a joining bonus.
