During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? Is this too much to ask or is this what someone at my current level would get paid at PwC. Please let me know!!!! PwC PwC India Pwc AC Deloitte Deloitte USI
Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group is too slow. For anything you wanna do inside the organization, 12 months of tenure is required. Even for promotions its the same no matter hoew exceptionally you perform.
Whereas Bain & Company has no such minimum tenure requirement. My colleague got promoted in 4th months of joining right out of college.
Give me 1 reason why I should accept the offer from BCG?

Delhi weather is not good.
In summer there is too much heat and in winter it is too cold and you would need to buy room heaters.
Choose wisely.
Agree on the weather and pollution, having lived in Delhi for 3years.
Summers - hotter than Mumbai
Rains - Hot & humid cos it hardly rains there
Winter- initially nice but soon turns into cloudy, cold, sun less weather coupled with 400aqi pollution
Mumbai isn’t too great but better than Delhi
Summers - hot and humid from mid-April to May
Monsoon - June &July torrential rains but nice cool weather
Winters - 150AQI but the best weather of all time, nice 24 degree Celsius days
Plus Mumbai you get to celebrate more festivals than Delhi and these are fun - Dahi Handi, Ganpati, Dandiya/Garba
Rent & travel will be worse than Delhi though
Which division in Nielsen. Is it media or sports?
Also yoe, ctc offered for both?
Yoe 7
Ctc 30
Nielsen as a company is better than IBM, which I believe would be IT services.
Location would also be deciding factor. Mumbai rents are expensive compared to Delhi.
IBM for stability and job security and not sure about nielsen
