Not gonna lie, I'm fuming that we don't have today off. My salary is good enough, but we don't get any of the "smaller" holidays off like Columbus or President's, and if the holiday is on the weekend, you can also forget about having any time off. I'd rather get paid a little less in my next role and have all the same holidays as my friends and family. What about you?

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.
