I need a financial advise. Currently, my home mortgage interest is 3.75%, $2,500/monthly payment (including tax and insurance). I have 26 more years remaining on my loan. Recently I applied for refinancing my home mortgage. Quick loan offers: option 1- 2.99% for 30yrs with $73,000 cash out, $2,500/monthly payment. Option 2- 2.75% for 20yrs $2,600/monthly payment. Which option will be the best choice? I have a student loan of $77,000 remaining with 3.5% interest rate. Thanks

I’m at a firm with 6 attorneys, they cover half our premiums and that’s literally it.
Having half my deductible paid for and the $200 month fitness reimbursement would be over 3k of added benefit I would gladly take!
My former firm (30 employees) paid 75% of the premium for individuals (still $106/month for employee to pay). $5,000 deductible. No dental, vision, or other contributions to health. Your situation is truly special in my opinion
Two attorney, one support person office. No employee provided plan but $300/month to find our own coverage. Myself and the support person are single. Boss has a family of 5, so we’d only need coverage for 7.

$300 a month seems really low to find your own health insurance. My boyfriend worked for a small music venue making less than 50k and he got $400 a month and his policy was terrible. Is that your experience too?
2 attorneys, two part time office staff. No benefits. Owner is on Medicare, as is our office manager. My paralegal is part time and I don’t get offered any benefits at all.
As the managing associate, I’m worried that when I hire a replacement office manager that I’ll have to offer them benefits which will be rough given our current margins.
My wife works at a boutique (6 attorneys) and gets full coverage but has to pay $750 a month for the family.
I'm at a firm with about 15 attorneys, plus about 20 staff. Firm covers our premium and contributes $125 per month to an HSA which works out to the cost of the yearly deductible over 12 months. Vision and dental included. Teeth cleanings totally covered. I pay about $50 for eye exam, get about $120 for glasses or contacts per year. This was much better than my prior firm of about 40 attorneys, but the 401k situation is worse compared to the other firm.
Seattle. I think the key is the partners wanted good insurance, so we all benefit! Just the other day a named partner mentioned his wife told him he should get his teeth straightened, so now we might get orthodontics covered in our dental! 😂
4 attorney firm, 3 staff. No insurance or reimbursement and my private insurance is so high.
That’s way more than I get
Mid-size firm. I took the lower of the two high deductible plans offered, $4500 deductible with dental and vision comes out to around $300 a month. Most visits are only covered up to 80%. My favorite part is they’ll contribute $40 to new glasses every year... No employer HSA contributions either.
I work at a small firm with 7 attorneys. The firm pays the premiums for staff and attorneys, but not for family. We also receive $2,000 put in our HSA each year since we have a high deductible plan.
No money for gyms, but at start of pandemic my boss worked a deal with her out of work personal trainer. Boss pays the personal trainer for group zoom workouts each week and we can schedule individual zoom workouts and nutrition consults with her. It’s been a great benefit during the pandemic.
