Im sure it’ll do what’s intended to do…. People that refuse to get vaccinated will quit and those that were hesitant before - will get the vaccine to avoid paying the surcharge. Either ways- the Company gets what it wants without having to fire anyone.

If you are being charged a fee for your choice you are not cost sharing. Your points are all over the place

like

Sure. But only if every risk factor is also included (weight, diet, exercise, family history, drinking, smoking etc.). Then we can all have personalized premiums based on our risk profiles.

Unfortunately, that would be the death of privacy.

As these vaccines begin to wear off, you'd be inviting your insurance carrier to test you every 6-8 months.

The medicine would have to be incontrovertible, and it is not.

People here really trying to claim a slippery slope on a policy that already exists. See smoking for example.

Planning on moving to London from New York for with 9mo baby in January. Would love some advice on the following topics:
1) Areas to look for affordable housing in a good area - potentially 2bed within the 1500 range?
2) would you recommend owning a car or would public transport be sufficient?
3) How does child care work (nanny/daycare)?
4) Is there an option to hire help for regular cooking, household chores, etc? If yes, what are the prices charged?
5) how does pay work with a transfer?

Does anyone know if we can reimburse expenses for items listed in Wageworks while on maternity?

I know we cannot expense phone/internet/ commuter benefit as I am not actively doing work.

However, for other items that fall under wage works reimbursement, I couldn’t find anything in writing yet.

Hi everyone! I am working with my HR to improve our maternity/paternity leave policy. Currently I only get 2 weeks fully paid and then an additional 8-12 weeks at 60% pay (short term disability). I need some examples of companies with less than 100 employees and what your maternity/paternity policy is. Please include company name! Thanks!!!

Growing up was rough. On my 8th birthday my dad had an accident that led to this death a few days later. He was a good man who took care of us all (I had 3 siblings now 2; lost 1 few years ago). I'm in a good place in life right now I only find myself in the last 5years shedding a tear once a while when I'm alone. It startles me because I was a tough kid who didn't cry and just soaked it all in and rolled with it. I'm almost 40 and can't explain what's happening with these tears.
