NYSC any day. Blink is one step away from planet fitness. Bad reviews for NYSC because they’re poorly managed and the employees suck (in the couple of locations I’ve been in) but they’ve got everything I need wrt lifting, heavy bag, sauna, and if you’re into it - Pilates, functional fitness classes, etc. I like it
Equinox
Rising Star
You can’t afford that
Do you like classes? Do you like amenities? If your answer is yes to the first question or both then check out Equinox. If your answer to one is no and 2 is yes, I still recommend checking out Equinox bit NYSC might provide what you’re looking for. I just moved from FL and looked at all the gyms in NYC, decided on equinox, and haven’t turned back
NYSC depends on the location, the one by me in Astoria really sucks
Blink (at least the one I go to) has no amenities, limited equipment, and is packed at all hours of the day, but with that being said it’s dirt cheap and gets the job done.
Is blink clean or gross?
What's the crowd like? Anyone cute? Or gross
NYSC, i go to the one on 41/3. Not fancy but they have everything, not packed. They are going thru renovation tho
