For the partners/mds/directors etc how are you protecting your money with the new administration? I’m assuming Biden’s plan will help the lower class but for the upper class I’m sure there have been strategies your advisors have been telling you. I currently have 20k in savings and feel like it’s just getting inflated away.

$530k HHI, $250k cash on hand, $1.2M investments/retirement. Plan to buy $800-900k house as our first home, but thinking of the best approach given rates today. My thinking is that we (i) put $200k+ down and get a 5/1 ARM. (ii) put everything we save moving forward toward paying down the principal (after maximizing retirement accounts). Should be able to do $100k per year. (iii) If rates go down below 4.5ish % for 15 year fixed, refinance and stop aggressive payment. Thoughts on this approach?

Till today I was planning to join company C but got to know that it is bit harsh towards employees and only cares till we are with the client and once we are out our salary is stopped and even we might be thrown out .

Am nervous and have only 15days left in NP.

How do you respond when consultant/HR asks the magical question “what’s your expected CTC” ? Do you give a number? Answer creatively or dodge the question?
