Offer from Deloitte in a C city: manager level, $175k base, $20k signing bonus, range of 0-26% AIP. Decent offer? Assuming I get at- or above- expectations reviews, should I expect 10-15% bonus?

I got the same offer and asked for more and they slightly raised my base salary

I think that's pretty good based on what you've shared. And lower than 10% bonus would be very surprising at M level.

D2 nah, I wish I got those kinds of bumps. All of 6% with the promo from SC to EM

Yeah that sounds about right. You could break 20 but it would be pretty hard your first year to do that.

Based on your above expectations statement I think your going to be a perfect fit at Deloitte

At least your on their payroll

What’s your YOE, and specialty?

10 YOE, specialty is small so don't want to be too specific about the group, but it's in the HC practice

aip will be 8-12 most years tbh.

Exiting to Tech in a sales / consulting services role. Clearing $400K inclusive of RSUs. Always felt like I was swimming upstream and my comp was basically flat over the last 3 years. So I bid adieu to consulting - for now.

For data science roles, senior (L6) at AWS or post MBA level (specialist track, so same pay as generalists) at MBB? Comp is 20% higher at AWS just to start. But maybe looks like MBB has better upside - solid path to promotion to manager level with solid comp increase. But worse WLB and it's unclear to me whether MBB data scientist on the resume is up to par with big tech data scientist on the resume. Coming from big 4 so I am considering brand so I can do better with future resume screens.

Why do some people say that the senior level at big tech (e.g., L6 at AWS) correlates to senior manager level at big 4? I get it from a comp perspective since comp is just that much higher. But from a scope/skills perspective, I find it hard to believe that L6 is closer to SM than it is to SC. Asking cause I have a senior level offer in big tech. How's Edelman NY? Getting hit up for Health which I've never done. It'll entail moving from advertising to PR/earned creative as they call it, and the Health category. Didn't sound like hard sell pharma, quite a bit of branded video content. I searched on FB, sounded mostly negative culturally (employee fired during Pride month, political, creatives better watch their backs, climate denier) with a few who love it. Figured I'll ask if anything's changed, if it's even worth ... considering.
